TOWN OF EDISTO BEACH Tuesday, November 24, 2009 THESE MINUTES ARE NOT VERBATIM, BUT DO ACCURATELY REFLECT THE PROCEEDINGS. Members attending: Chairman Darrin Moore, Vice-Chair Jerry Zeller and Members David Cannon, Bob Sandifer and Wanda McCarley Members absent: Members Linda Tilby and Laurie Sanders Staff attending: Zoning Administrator Gus Gusler Chairman Moore called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. Review of Minutes: Minutes from 10-20-09: Member Sandifer made a motion to accept the minutes. Member McCarley provided a second and the vote was unanimous to approve. Minutes from 11-09-09: Vice-Chair Zeller made a motion to accept the minutes. Member Cannon provided a second and the vote was unanimous to approve. Old Business: Sign Sub-Committee: Chairman Moore inquired if the Sub-Committee had had another opportunity to meet. Zoning Administrator Gusler informed the Commission that they had not. New Business: Thirsty Fish on the Waterfront: Johnny Ware, owner and operator of Thirsty Fish on the Waterfront would like to open for lunch. Thirsty Fish on the Waterfront is located at 3731 Docksite Road above Edisto Water Sports and both businesses share a parking lot. Building Department staff has reviewed the parking requirements for both entities and have submitted the parking lot diagram showing the parking. Chairman Moore asked for a motion. Member Sandifer made a motion to approve the submitted documentation (Exhibit A) and allow the Thirsty Fish to open for lunch. Vice Chair Zeller provided a second and the vote was unanimous to approve. Chairman Moore asked if there were any more business in front of the Commission. There being none, he asked for a motion to adjourn. The meeting adjourned at 5:25 pm. Freedom of Information Act, § 30-4-80(3) was complied with.
