TOWN OF EDISTO BEACH

AN ORDINANCE

 To amend §66-8(c) and (d) of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Edisto Beach, as amended, so as to amend the fee structure for garbage service.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Edisto Beach in Council duly assembled and by the authority of the same that:

1. Section 66-8(c) and (d) of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Edisto Beach, as amended, shall be further amended to read as follows:

(c)        The fee structure for residential or nonresidential property owners within the Town is as outlined below:
Fee

1.     Customers receiving curbside pickup…..         
2.     One container……………………….         $137.00
3.     Two containers……………………...         $205.00
4.     Three containers……………………         $273.00
5.     Not to exceed five containers……..          $546.00
6.     Bay Creek Villa owners…………………..          $137.00
7.     All other dwellings within the PUD

    development that do not fall into categories
described in subsections (c)(1) and (c)(2)
of this section……………………………..          $  88.00

     This annual fee shall be paid semiannually in advance.

(d)      The fee structure for Wyndham Ocean Ridge business use of the convenience                                                                                                                
stations shall be an annual payment of $137.00 per business to be paid
semiannually in advance, excluding all businesses with commercial    containers.

1.  This Ordinance shall take effect on June 1, 2009.
