SC Grants for Home Improvements

The State of SC has a matching grant program for improvements to your primary single family residence which improve resistance to hurricane damage.  To be eligible a home must:

• Have been granted a homestead exemption
• Have an insured value of $300,000 or less
• Have undergone an acceptable wind certification and hurricane mitigation inspection.
