Town Administrator
As a native South Carolinian and visitor to Edisto Beach for over 30 years, I am excited to have been given the opportunity as Town Administrator of Edisto Beach. I am looking forward to working with and serving the Mayor, Town Council and the community. One of my immediate goals is to meet with the Council and Department Heads to gain a better understanding of the Town's needs. I do not anticipate making any changes initially and expect this to be a seamless transition. Because it is my understanding there are some grant application deadlines in March and I will be immediately faced with developing the 2010 budget, I plan to "hit the ground running" . Issues in Edisto Beach that I see in the near and ongoing future are acquisition of grant funds, beach renourishment and sidewalk repair. As the Bell Buoy property is developed, there will be the need for project management and the potential for additional grant funding.
